Colin built a distinguished career as a healthcare executive, joining Reata Pharmaceuticals as its second employee. During his tenure, Colin served in multiple C-level roles, lead global clinical teams, and spearheaded the development of Skyclarys®—the first and only approved treatment for the progressive, life-shortening neurological disorder Friedreich’s ataxia. He helped grow the company from a small, private company to a publicly traded company that was acquired in a multi-billion dollar transaction after FDA approval of Skyclarys®.

Colin and his wife, Jessica, have been visiting Mexico for over 20 years and have been part-time residents of San José del Cabo for the past five years. They have supported philanthropic causes in Cabo and the US focusing on education and healthcare, as well as their local church. Colin serves on multiple boards and advisory groups for academic institutions that he attended.
